Cilantro Restaurant is recruiting suitable candidates to fill the position below:

Job Title: Cleaner

Location: Lagos

Responsibilities

General Cleaning: Sweep, mop, dust, and vacuum floors, carpets, and surfaces in designated areas (offices, hallways, restrooms, etc.).
Restroom Maintenance: Clean and sanitize bathrooms, including toilets, sinks, mirrors, and floors. Refill soap dispensers, paper towels, and toilet paper as necessary.
Waste Disposal: Empty trash bins and dispose of waste in the appropriate containers.
Surface Cleaning: Wipe down desks, counters, windows, and furniture to maintain cleanliness.
Equipment Maintenance: Operate and maintain cleaning machines and tools (e.g., vacuums, floor scrubbers). Ensure equipment is in good working order.
Cleaning Supplies: Replenish cleaning supplies when necessary and ensure they are stored correctly.
Deep Cleaning: Perform occasional deep cleaning tasks, such as carpet shampooing, window washing, and upholstery cleaning.
Safety Standards: Follow health and safety guidelines while using cleaning products, ensuring proper ventilation and protective measures are used.
Reporting Issues: Report maintenance issues (e.g., leaks, broken equipment) to the supervisor or facilities manager.

Qualifications

Education: No formal education required, but a high school diploma is preferred.
Experience: Previous experience in cleaning or housekeeping roles is advantageous but not required.
Skills:
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, products, and equipment.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to manage time efficiently and prioritize tasks.
Physical Requirements: Ability to stand, bend, and lift up to [insert weight] lbs. Must be able to handle manual tasks and work in a physically demanding environment.

Salary
N55,000 / month.
