Job Title: Chief Technology Officer
Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage the technical operations team to ensure the efficient and effective delivery of services.
- Develop and implement strategic plans for technical infrastructure that align with product development goals and overall business objectives.
- Work collaboratively with engineering, product, marketing, sales, and customer support teams to ensure seamless integration of technical operations.
- Oversee the development, implementation, and maintenance of technical systems and processes.
- Ensure the scalability, security, and reliability of technical operations.
- Monitor and manage operational budgets, resource allocation, and performance metrics.
- Drive innovation and enhance technical operations through the application of agile and lean methodologies.
- Address complex technical challenges and implement effective solutions to improve operational efficiency.
- Formulate and execute the technology vision and strategy in alignment with the company’s overarching business goals.
- identifying emerging technologies and trends to maintain a competitive edge in the industry.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in technology leadership roles, with a focus on the financial services.
- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful technology strategies and solutions.
- Strong understanding of software development methodologies, cloud computing, data management, and cybersecurity.
- Experience with regulatory compliance and risk management in the financial industry.
- Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate diverse teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging with technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
