Job Description

Job Summary:

  • The COO oversees and manages day-to-day operational, administrative, and technology functions across a diverse group of companies.
  • The role focuses on streamlining processes, fostering innovation, and managing risks while aligning operational goals with the group's overall business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic direction and oversight of operational functions
  • Streamline processes and workflows to improve efficiency and reduce costs
  • Implement best practices and standards to ensure operational excellence and regulatory compliance
  • Collaborate with the Managing Director and executive team to develop and execute strategic plans
  • Identify growth opportunities, market trends, and risks to inform strategic decision-making
  • Oversee risk management practices and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Strong operational and strategic planning skills
  • Proven ability to manage risk and drive operational excellence
  • Strong understanding of financial markets, products, and regulatory requirements
  • 10+ years of senior leadership experience in operations, preferably in a Group of Companies

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Banking, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field
  • MBA or relevant master's degree preferred
