Job Summary

Our client is seeking to hire a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) who will strengthen their financial and accounting framework to align with industry standards and to position the company for future public listing.
The CFO will provide strategic financial leadership, ensure efficient financial operations, and maintain compliance with regulatory requirements.
This role involves developing and implementing financial strategies to drive sustainable growth and profitability.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute financial strategies aligned with the company's goals and objectives.
Provide financial forecasts, analysis, and insights to support decision-making.
Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning processes.
Monitor key financial metrics and identify areas for improvement.
Assess and manage financial risks, including liquidity, credit, and market risks.
Ensure robust internal controls and compliance with financial regulations.
Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team to achieve operational excellence.
Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Prepare and present accurate and timely financial reports to the CEO, Board of Directors, and stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
Evaluate investment opportunities and oversee capital allocation decisions.
Manage relationships with investors, banks, and other financial institutions.
Monitor expenses and implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising quality or efficiency.
Collaborate with other executives to ensure sound corporate governance.

Qualifications and Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Having an MBA is an added advantage.
The candidate must be a chartered accountant.
Over 10 years in senior financial leadership roles, with proven experience in strategic planning, financial analysis, and team management.

Remuneration
NGN 1,000,000 per month.
