Responsibilities
- Registers sales on a cash register by recording orders, itemizing, and totaling customers’ purchases.
- Resolves customer issues and answers questions.
- Bags orders/purchases after payment
- Processes return transactions.
- Itemizes and totals purchases by recording prices and operating a cash register.
- Enter price changes by referring to price sheets and Menu list.
- Collects payments by accepting transfers, POS, or Cash from customers.
- Verifies credit when transfers are made after purchase
- Balances Cash Box by counting cash at beginning and end of work.
- Provides pricing information by answering questions.
- Maintain checkout operations by following policies and procedures; reporting needed changes to the superiors.
- Closely studying and following Sooyah Bistro recipes
- Preparing food quickly, following the standard quality and measurement of Sooyah Bistro
- Maintaining cleanliness and order in the workplace and complying with all safety norms while carrying out work functions.
- Handle food as hygienically as is possible
- Remembering and preparing multiple orders and assembling them to customer satisfaction
- Able to cook in bulk and use commercial kitchen equipment.
- Ensure all kitchen equipment are clean and well-kept after use
- Must kept the kitchen and its surroundings clean at all times.
- Keep an inventory of all orders and stock
- Store everything properly and in order.
Requirements
- Interested candidates should possess a First School Leaving Certificate with 2 - 4 years experience.
