As we continue to grow, we are looking for an experienced and result-driven Business Development Manager who can help expand our reach, build strong business relationships, and position WorkflowsHR as one of the leading payroll and HR software providers in Nigeria.
Job Summary
The ideal candidate must be confident, business-minded, well-connected, and capable of representing the company professionally at all levels. This role is not for someone waiting for leads to come in. We are looking for someone who can actively create opportunities, build partnerships, attract new clients, and increase brand visibility across different industries in Nigeria.
You should understand how to identify decision-makers, close deals, build trust with companies, and help grow a technology-driven business in a competitive market.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and win new business opportunities for WorkflowsHR
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with companies, organizations, and business owners
- Represent the company at networking events, conferences, exhibitions, and business meetings
- Build partnerships that increase company visibility and market reach
- Generate qualified leads and convert prospects into paying clients
- Present and demonstrate the company’s payroll and HR solutions to potential customers
- Develop strategies to grow brand awareness across Nigeria
- Work closely with management and marketing teams to improve sales performance
- Maintain strong follow-up and client relationship management practices
- Monitor market trends, competitors, and industry opportunities
- Help position WorkflowsHR as a trusted HR and payroll technology brand in Nigeria
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years verifiable experience in Business Development, Sales, Marketing, or Corporate Relationship Management
- Previous experience working with SaaS, HR tech, payroll, fintech, or technology companies is a strong advantage
- Strong networking and relationship-building skills
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
- Ability to work independently and deliver measurable business growth
- Proven track record of bringing in clients and closing business deals
- Must be confident meeting and speaking with executives, business owners, and decision-makers
- Strong understanding of the Nigerian business environment
- Professional appearance and presentation skills
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and highly organized
