Responsibilities:

Interpret and study construction plans, blueprints, and specifications to determine project requirements and ensure compliance with building codes and regulations.
Perform various construction tasks
Coordinate and collaborate with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure smooth project execution.
Operate and maintain construction equipment and tools in a safe and efficient manner.
Ensure that projects are completed within budget and time constraints.
Monitor project progress, identify any potential issues, and recommend solutions to ensure quality and timely completion.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring safety standards are met.
Comply with all company policies and procedures, as well as local, state, and federal building regulations.

Requirements:

Minimum academic qualification of a HND in Construction Management, or a related field is preferred.
Proven experience as a Builder or in a similar construction role.
⁠Minimum of (5) years’ experience in a Builder role
Experience taking on management of a project start to finish particularly on a large commercial scale will be an added advantage
⁠Professional certification from the national board/association is preferred
In-depth knowledge of construction procedures, materials, and tools.
Strong understanding of building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
Ability to interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications accurately.
Proficient in using construction equipment and hand tools.
⁠Excellent physical stamina and manual dexterity.
