Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all financial transactions, including income and expenditures.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable for the school.
- Process and record all invoices, receipts, and payments in the school’s financial system.
- Reconcile bank statements and other financial accounts regularly.
- Prepare and generate regular financial reports, such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Present financial data to school leadership for decision-making purposes.
- Assist in the preparation of reports for school auditors or regulatory authorities.
- Serve as a point of contact for staff members regarding financial questions or concerns.
- Communicate with vendors, contractors, and service providers regarding invoices and payments.
- Assist parents or guardians with billing inquiries, if applicable (e.g., tuition fees, activity fees).
Requirements:
- OND, HND or Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is preferred.
- 1-2 years of experience as an Accountant or Book keeping.
- Experience in school settings is an added advantage.
- Excellent communication, attention to details, interpersonal, and problem solving skills
- Must be staying within Abule egba, and it’s environs.
