Job Title: Basic Technology and Technical Drawing Teacher

Location: Lagos

Responsibilities

Plan and deliver dynamic and interactive basic technology and technical drawing lessons tailored to students in years 7 - 12.
Design and implement a comprehensive curriculum and lesson plans aligned with national and British educational standards, ensuring academic rigor and relevance.
Leverage diverse instructional methods, technologies, and resources to accommodate varied learning styles and abilities, promoting inclusive education.
Assess student progress through both formative and summative evaluations, offering timely feedback to support individual growth and development.
Integrate hands-on projects and design-based learning activities to cultivate critical thinking, creativity, and practical application of technical drawing skills.
Collaborate closely with fellow academic team members to ensure coherence and cohesion in the technical drawing curriculum across grade levels.
Maintain accurate student records, including attendance, grades, and progress reports, upholding accountability and transparency.
Participate actively in professional development opportunities to remain abreast of emerging trends and best practices in technical drawing instruction and education.
Contribute positively to the school community by attending events, facilitating extracurricular activities, and engaging in committee work.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Technical Drawing, Engineering, or a related field from an accredited institution.
Minimum of 3 years' experience teaching basic technology, technical drawing or a related subject at the secondary level, demonstrating proficiency in instructional delivery.
Thorough comprehension of engineering drawing standards, orthographic projections, dimensioning, and architectural drawing conventions.
Very good communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills, fostering a conducive learning atmosphere.
Valid teaching certification or license in the relevant subject area, ensuring compliance with educational regulations.
Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and adapt instructional approaches to meet evolving educational needs.

Salary
N150,000- N250,000 Monthly.
