Job Title: Bartender

Responsibilities

  • We are seeking an enthusiastic, customer-focused Bartender to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, a deep understanding of beverages, and the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests.
  • This role involves preparing and serving drinks, maintaining a clean and organized bar, and delivering excellent customer service to ensure a memorable experience for all patrons.

Key Responsibilities
Drink Preparation and Service:

  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and guest preferences.
  • Mix, garnish, and present drinks with attention to detail and quality.
  • Take drink and food orders from patrons seated at the bar or through servers.

Customer Interaction:

  • Greet guests warmly and engage in friendly conversation to enhance their experience.
  • Provide recommendations based on guests’ tastes and preferences.
  • Handle customer complaints and resolve issues in a professional manner.

Bar Maintenance:

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and sanitizing surfaces.
  • Stock the bar with necessary supplies, including beverages, garnishes, and ice.
  • Monitor inventory levels and communicate shortages or restocking needs to the manager.

Cash Handling and Transactions:

  • Process payments accurately using the POS system.
  • Ensure proper handling of cash, credit cards, and receipts.

Compliance and Safety:

  • Verify the legal drinking age of patrons.
  • Follow all health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
  • Adhere to company policies, including responsible alcohol service and dress code.

Team Collaboration:

  • Work closely with servers, barracks, and kitchen staff to ensure seamless service.
  • Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and events as required.

Qualifications

  • Experience: Previous bartending or hospitality experience preferred but not required.
  • Knowledge: Familiarity with a wide range of beverages, cocktails, and bar equipment.

Skills:

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand for extended periods.
