Yemken Chops and Confectioneries is a Nigerian small chops company that was founded in 2024 and is known for its unique finger food flavors. The company is headquartered in Lagos and has multiple locations in the city.
We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Baker
Location: Ipaja, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Responsibilities
- Prepare and bake a variety of small chops and pastries
- Follow recipes and ensure consistency in product quality and taste
- Measure and mix ingredients according to recipes
- Operate baking equipment such as ovens, mixers, Frying pan and monitor baking process and make adjustments as necessary
- Ensure proper food safety and sanitation practices are followed in the kitchen
- Clean and maintain baking equipment, utensils, and work area.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess relevant qualifications with 1 - 3 years of relevant work experience.
- Previous experience as a baker or experience in small chops making is necessary
- Knowledge of baking techniques and principles
- Familiarity with different types of flours, sugars, and other baking ingredient
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent time management skills to ensure timely production of baked goods
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper handling of ingredients
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
