Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Supervise daily operations of janitorial staff to ensure efficiency and quality.
- Assign tasks, create work schedules, and manage staff attendance.
- Conduct regular inspections of work areas to ensure compliance with cleanliness standards.
- Address and resolve client complaints or requests promptly and professionally.
- Train and onboard new staff members in cleaning procedures and safety protocols.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, and coordinate procurement when necessary.
- Enforce adherence to health and safety regulations within the workplace.
- Prepare reports on staff performance, inventory usage, and operational issues.
- Provide feedback to management on operational improvements and staff performance.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in an administrative and supervisory role, preferably within the cleaning or janitorial industry.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Knowledge of cleaning methods, materials, and equipment.
- Ability to handle physical tasks and work flexible hours as needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications are a plus.
- Problem-solving and conflict resolution.
- Familiarity with workplace health and safety standards.
- Basic computer skills for reporting and scheduling.
