Responsibilities:

Manage the complete accounting cycle for both retail and manufacturing operations
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes
Handle bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow
Manage inventory accounting and costing for manufacturing operations
Process payroll and ensure timely remittance of statutory payments
Prepare and file tax returns (VAT, WHT, PAYE, Company Income Tax)
Monitor and record all manufacturing costs including raw materials, labor, and overhead
Develop and maintain cost accounting systems
Create and analyze financial reports for management decision-making
Ensure compliance with Nigerian accounting standards and regulations
Supervise junior accounting staff

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Professional certification (ACA, ACCA, or ICAN)
Minimum of 5 years accounting experience, with at least 2 years in manufacturing
Strong knowledge of Nigerian tax laws and regulations
Proficiency in accounting software (preferably SAP or Oracle)
Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP systems
Understanding of cost accounting principles and manufacturing processes
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Excellent attention to detail
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Strong leadership and team management skills
High level of integrity and confidentiality
