Job Description
- Research industry-related topics (combining online sources, interviews and studies)
- Write clear marketing copy to promote our products/services
- Prepare well-structured drafts using Content Management Systems
- Proofread and edit blog posts before publication
- Submit work to editors for input and approval
- Coordinate with marketing and design teams to illustrate articles
- Conduct simple keyword research and use SEO guidelines to increase web traffic
- Promote content on social media
- Identify customers’ needs and gaps in our content and recommend new topics
- Ensure all-around consistency (style, fonts, images and tone)
- Update website content as needed
Requirements
- Has renowned knowledge and sway of the world of Finance
- Great command of the English language (especially the writing aspect).
- Proficiency in the use of WordPress.
- Must possess online proof of written materials (links to social media pages).
- Passionate and experienced writer (At least 2 years provable experience)
- Committed team player and communicator.
- Teachable, resourceful and flexible personality
- Ability to spot interesting story angles in a creative manner.
- Applicant must reside in Lagos State only
NOTE:
This job is a hybrid job with 90% of it's activities carried out remotely and a 10% onsite requirement.
