Job Description

  • Ensure adequate and timely submission and review of 5-year Distribution Expansion Plan by the Distribution Licensees. 
  • Review and recommend for Commission’s approval Distribution Expansion Plans submitted by Distribution Licensees.

Job Title: Assistant Manager – Research Analytics

Job Description

  • Perform trend analysis, regulatory research, and energy policy issues  
  • Initiating and develop strategies on regulatory research and analysis of extant policies & regulations in the power sector while providing recommendations to the Commission.  
  • Preparation of position papers and reports on regulatory issues  
  • Analyse data and provide visualization using statistical software. Identify trends and make recommendations for inputs into reports of the Commission. Create presentations with charts and graphs to present to higher-ups and management.

  • Minimum years of experience: 4 years’ post-graduation (NYSC inclusive) obtained in the Nigerian Electricity Sector, an academic institution, a Nigerian or foreign financial, commercial, industrial or regulatory institution, an NGO in a relevant sector, a multilateral development institution, or a consulting or professional services firm with demonstrable understanding of electricity sector experience.
  • Experience working with and building financial/economic models is an added advantage.
