Job Description

  • The Director of Franchise Risk Management Intelligence is responsible for protecting the payment system from merchants and agents that introduce illegal or brand-damaging activity into the payment system.
  • This position proactively focuses on developing and refining the use of predictive analytics, dashboard reporting, and payment data to help acquirers identify and eliminate illegal activity from the system.

Qualifications

  • First Degree in Computer Science or IT-related field.
  • MBA would be an added advantage.
  • Must be C|CISO/CISM/CISA/Cyber-Ops certified.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 10 years of demonstrated experience in Information Systems Control and Compliance, IT Audit and Risk management, Computer forensics, Incident Response, Penetration Testing, Cloud security, and Vulnerability management within the financial services industry.

Investigation Officer (Audit) – Wema Bank Plc

Job Description

  • Timely completion of investigation on reported cases of fraud, malpractices, errors and irregularities
  • Ensure quality presentation of Investigation Reports in terms of depth, presentation, and recommendations. 
  • Liaise with Police/ Law enforcement agents on investigation and stand as a witness in Court on investigated cases in the course of prosecution.
  • Preparation of Board/ Management Reports.

Job Description

  • The Database Administrator is responsible for the day-to-day operations and maintenance of Databases.
  • The Database Administrator carries out responsibilities in some or all of the following technical areas: Creating and maintaining all databases required for Production, Disaster Recovery, development, and testing usage, Performing ongoing tuning of the database instances, Planning and implementing backup and recovery of databases, Setup and maintenance of online replication of data from Production to the DR environment, Monitor and advise management on licensing issues while ensuring compliance with Oracle License agreements, Proactive Production Database monitoring across database platforms.

Job Description

Duties and Accountabilities

  • Provide key support in the identification, appraisal, structuring, and negotiation of financial sector investments.
  • Identify and analyze fundamental competitive strengths and weaknesses of projects or portfolio companies and identify non-financial issues, opportunities, and risk/reward factors (e.g., business environment, country, and sponsor). 
  • Handle disbursements, waivers, and complex client interactions such as restructurings; monitor and value equity investments and recommends/execute the sale of holdings.
  • Monitor existing investments in portfolio companies, comprising various types of financial entities.

Selection Criteria

  • Master’s Degree and 5-7 years of relevant experience in the financial sector, preferably in an investment-related function and/or the private equity industry. 
  • Good understanding of financial and operational characteristics of financial institutions. 
  • Clear experience and expertise in identifying, evaluating, structuring, and negotiating debt and equity transactions; experience in portfolio management.
  • Experience in emerging FinTech platforms and technologies such as digital banking, mobile payments, digital lending, InsurTech, etc. a plus. 
  • Strong interest in innovative, disruptive solutions for the financial services industry. 
  • Sound business judgment and strong problem-solving/negotiation skills, as well as the ability to work effectively on simultaneous projects under time pressure.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
  • A keen interest in development finance and working in a multicultural environment.
